My Story

Let me introduce myself! My name is Bari Kellam and I am a mom to two beautiful girls, Olivia and Elliotte, and a wife to a wonderful husband, Chris.  My goal is to surround myself with love, passion, friendship, and health while striving to help others do the same.  My passion for baking came from a deep desire for my community to understand that real food can taste absolutely delicious, if not better, than the packaged stuff!
A little bit more about me: From as far back as I can remember, I had always had an extremely strained relationship with food.  I, like most others, never understood the correlation between what you and eat and how you feel; it was of little importance to me.  Following me into early adulthood, the obsession continued to grow and the pressures of perfection (mostly self-inflicted) mounted as well.  I was well on my way to ultimate “burn-out”.
After almost 10 years of working in a job that didn’t serve me, I decided it was time to take charge of my health and, ultimately, my life.  I stopped working and became a stay-at-home mom.  That decision led me to a deep and meaningful understanding of nutrition and its ability to bring balance to our lives. I had to work diligently to rid myself of toxins; both food and relationships, to begin the journey of getting my life back.  Once I began to truly value myself and my relationships, I quickly realized what was most important in life.   With help and guidance in understanding the importance of a holistic approach to health, I was able to transform my mind, my body, and my spirit.
Following my true passion, I enrolled at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2018 and became a Certified Health Coach.  With the knowledge I have gained throughout my own experience and with the intensive education I have received, I am eager to share my passion with others.  Out of a hobby of baking with my girls during Covid lockdown came an amazing career of baking for others.
I bake solely with ingredients (and love) that I would share with my own family.  I have learned that real food and fueling our bodies with what matters make all the difference in how we show up in this world!
Join me on my mission to inspire others through food and enjoy some of my baked goods in the meantime :).
Thank you so much for being here!
